What locations do you cover?
We’re an Edinburgh-based company, founded right here in the city. We work all across Edinburgh and the surrounding areas, including South Queensferry, Dalkeith, East Lothian, and Penicuik.
At the moment, we’re unable to take on clients who are more than 30 minutes from where our helpers are based. However, because our team is spread across Edinburgh, we usually have good options and flexibility.
Do you charge for parking?
Yes, we do charge parking costs back to clients. Some parking areas in Edinburgh can cost up to £9 per hour, and it wouldn’t be viable for us to attend a job without covering these fees.
You can apply for visitor parking permits from Edinburgh Council. These come in 90-minute blocks and are usually much cheaper than standard parking charges.
Is the trial session free?
No, your trial session is not free. If you have an original chat and walk around the house, we are happy to do this free of charge. However, any hours we spend working in your home will be charged at our standard rate of £23 per hour.
Can I do one-off or short-term sessions
Can I book one-off or short-term sessions?
Yes, absolutely! You’re very welcome to book one-off or short-term support with us.
Please note that we charge a slightly higher rate for one-off sessions, as these tend to be more specialised and intensive.

If you’d like short-term help (for example, over a few weeks or a few months), that’s also perfectly fine — we’ll simply apply our standard rate of £23 per hour for ongoing support during that time.
I am away a lot. Can I pause the service?
We operate on a 28-day rolling contract, with the option to pause for up to 4 weeks per year.
You might be wondering why this is necessary. Our helpers are self-employed and work with you long-term. If you have, for example, a 3-hour session booked every Monday morning, and you cancel sporadically — say 2 weeks in April, 3 weeks in summer, 2 weeks in October — those hours are still blocked in your helper’s schedule. This means your helper doesn’t get paid for the time they’ve reserved for you.
To make this fair for both you and our helpers, we offer a 4-week pause service each year.
Even when you’re away, we can often attend if you’d like. These sessions can include:
Deep cleans
Decluttering
Sorting specific areas
Organising under beds or folding drawers
Other tasks that haven’t been tackled yet
We like to keep the service consistent whenever possible, as it allows us to make real progress in your home, rather than only tackling small, fragmented tasks.
